Laser Jammers: Save Yourself Thousands of Dollars!

The Bottom Line Be careful!
I don't know how I ever drove without a laser jammer before... I drove around with
the Valentine One, but one thing was still missing. Something that could save me
from lidar. Lidar guns is probably the one thing other than instant-

*Laser jammers are a lot like remote radar detectors. You install transponder modules on parts of the car such as on the grille or license plate on the front, and on the rear license plate. Then in the interior, you can have a module that will show you the works and tell you everything that's going on, or a measely button with a mute button and light. The way that a laser jammer works is by emitting very strong light from the LEDs in the transponders to "confuse" the laser gun, thus jamming it. You therefore get a warning and you are able to slow down. Cool concept, huh?

*Well, one thing that I find to be quite essential is a shut-

*Here comes the tricky part. Just because you have a laser jammer that actually works (Anything except Rocky Mountain and FAJO) doesn't mean that you'll be 100% protected. For example, if you're using two transponders rather than one, you have a better chance of jamming the laser. Also, there's the company factor, each product is different. I chose Escort because of its intro with the Passport 8500 which shows a lot of "good" thinking. But some companies such as K40 have fallen back, I know people who use the K40 Defuser Plus because of the name, and have gotten pulled over for laser tickets before. It all just depends, you should do extensive research before buying a product. Try to buy newer ones since they would have more recent software and what not. However, I would stick to the big dogs such as Escort/Bel and Blinder. Companies that claim to jam such as Rocky Mountain are PURE JOKES.

*Rocky Mountain radar claims that all of their scrambler products can "scramble"

*Choosing a laser jammer is some pretty serious business. Lidar guns are quite popular in the United States and in Europe. They are very lethal when you're hit without any protection, but you can protect yourself! You should seriously consider a jammer if lidar is used in your area (Even if RARELY like I encounter it). Remember, it just takes one ticket to ruin your day and drastically increase your insurance premiums and what not.
Some last things to consider... Yes...
*DO NOT buy Rocky Mountain products, they do not work.
*If laser jammers are illegal in your state, no sweat, just make sure that yours has a disabling switch so that cops won't get suspicious.
*Make sure that there are atleast two LED transponders in the front to provide sufficient jamming ability.
*Modules on the interior are a nice touch.
1. Do Laser Jammers really work?
2. What happens when the officer does not get a reading?
3. Shipping
An officer will target a car he thinks is speeding. An officer generally will target a car for up to 3 seconds and move to the next car. If the officer does not get a reading on your car there is nothing the officer can legally do. He could if he wanted pull out and wait for you to make a violation and pull you over for something else. However the officer is there for one purpose and that is to issue speeding tickets. It is rare for the officer to move just to ask you about your Jammer.
