Is the Plate Flipper legal: The Plate Flipper is legal in all states because it does not obstruct your plate in anyway. Your plate is visible all the time as it would be if you didn’t have a plate flipper. Only when you use the plate flipper would it become illegal. Even then it’s only a ticket. Just don’t do it in front of the cop.

Can I mount the Plate Flipper on the front of my car? Yes. The Plate Flipper can be mounted on the front of your vehicle. However it was not designed to be mounted on the front of the vehicle. During testing the Plate Flipper can with stand frontal winds of up to 35 mph. At more than 35 mph the plate is not able to flip down due to the wind speed. If the plate is in the down position it can with stand winds in excess of 65 mph. (Click here for Video) UPDATE: 05-07-09. Coming next month the plate flipper for the front of your vehicle will be able to function at much faster speeds.
